If you're nervous about taking your MCAT (or any other test) here bc of some of the negative reviews, IGNORE THEM. I was worrying myself for no reason over the some of the reviews I'd seen where people had bad experiences with the staff, but when I came the lady at the front desk was polite and everything went smoothly. Yes, they were kinda a stickler for making sure you follow their rules (read the sign on the door before coming in, use sanitizer frequently, etc.) but just follow them and you'll be fine. I guess it depends on who's working there that day, but you can have rude people at any location. Don't let that deter you from taking it here if this location is more convenient. Didn't experience any computer screens going black, power outages, or anything funky.
Also, come by before your test day to just check out the building! That really helped calm me down.

Let me say I have taken more than 1 exam at this testing company. Showed up at the Baltimore location to take a test. Lady told me I couldn’t take my phone in the bathroom(I hadn’t even checked in yet), I could leave it sitting on a chair in the lobby. Put my phone back in my car to use the restroom then got it back(my ID and 2nd ID are in my phone case). Tells me I have to use their sanitizer(I just washed my hands). Tells me I have to completely turn off my Fitbit and phone even though I will be locking everything in the locker(I didn’t at their Columbia location 10 days ago). She tells me I have to read the signs on the front door(I said I just was at the other location) I have to read the signs. The old lady that was there was rude and disrespectful. I told her to give me my ID’s back as I will have my test rescheduled back at the Columbia location. Do not go to the Lord Baltimore location if you can help it. Rude and disrespection with ridiculous rules that the other location doesn’t do.

Some staff members were quite nasty and act like you should know every single bit of their process as if you take tests there daily, however facility is clean and no issues with taking the actual test

Soon as I enter the man at the front desk had a nasty attitude. He was very passive aggressive. When I walked in he was going back and forth with another customer. When she asked for a manager is response was “ I am the manger. This is a as high as you going to get.” He wouldn’t even let the other tester wait in the waiting room for her ride(it was windy and about 30 degrees outside. It was only him, the other customer and myself in there at the time. He also had me sign on a key pad that was connected to a computer screen that only he could see and when I asked him can I see what I was signing he told me no and proceeded to move on.I only signed because I already paid my money for the test and I have waited a month to take it. I could have just signed my life away and wouldn’t know. He made me feel like I really didn’t matter so I know for a fact the other tester felt worse. Before going to the back I was told to use the bathroom before I went in to take the test. I told him I didn’t have to go, his reply was “ well you need to go wash your hands.When going to take an important test the staff should be polite being as tho you are already under stress. I had a whole anxiety attack and could not breathe under my mask, and I was told if I take my mask off my test would end if I was finished or not. I’m definitely going to research sometime higher to talk to them about the front desk worker attitude!

The front desk lady was racist and kept trying to imply I have COVID, made me leave the testing center, and asked me no less than 4 times if I had read the COVID policies. She spoke to me like I was stupid and gave me attitude for no reason. She had nothing to say to the white man using his phone with his mask under his nose though.
