The internet was down. I spent my day driving to a testing center, taking a day off work and driving 150 miles to hear: our internet is down. We don't know when you will be rescheduled.
It's not the center's fault but they got my info in front of them to call me. I had to wait 30 minutes after my test started to prove I showed up otherwise they wouldn't refund my money or reschedule the test.
I even got griped at for using my phone in the waiting room, despite my test being canceled. Glad this test was not that important to my job. I always thought Pearson was a good company. A good company makes provisions and efforts when they let a customer down. I have nobody to contact and just have to wait to get rescheduled. No customer service number to call on website. And companies are perplexed by the workforce resignation? Maybe stop making everyone jump through hoops. Bad enough to take these stupid tests, then you have to be insulted and not get your money refunded. I've studied myself blind for a test that relates in no way to my job. The sad part, I've paid for the test, the books, spent the time and still can't take it.
