I don't usually post reviews, but this time I really feel like I wanted to. This center is highly recommended. ?? The people on the front desk of main lobby are nice and accomodating. The people inside the pearson vue center who take palm vein scan and ID picture are also nice, strict yet calm. And most especially, the proctor that assisted me, she's super super nice. You know, when your anxiety is really high, their attitude will somehow lower it down.

My exam was re-scheduled twice only two weeks ahead of my exam. I understand circumstances are changing these days but the last minute changes added an incredible amount of stress onto an already stressful event. I will say though, on the day of the exam the experience almost made up for it. Everything was well organized, streamlined and i started my exam even earlier than planned. The staff was friendly and helpful and the environment was perfect. I could hear the front desk ladies laughing sometimes, but there were noise cancelling headphones at my desk and earplugs available if i needed them. I'm been to other Pearson locations and this one was the best by far. Everything was clean, the lockers were a good size and everything was cleaned prior to me getting to my spot. Overall the in-person experience made up for the incredibly unprofessional last minute changes.

The building location is exceptionally convenient to get to; just a short walk from Union Station and plenty of parking in the area as well. The main lobby has a Starbucks that you can sit in and wait if you are accompanying someone to the exam. It's worth noting that the staff in the lobby of the main building are incredibly kind and helpful. The review below is specifically in regards to the staff employed by Pearson in the test center. However, that is about the only positive to this review. While waiting for my fiancee to place her items in the locker so I could return to the lower lobby with her coat during the exam (since there was just an open coat rack and no locker space), I was notified by the two staff members at the desk that I was not allowed in the area. Even if waiting for a coat so I could leave. Their attitude from the moment you walked in the door set the tone for exactly what I expected to happen. There is a "that's not my job" attitude and what appears to be irritation with even having to do the very basic task they appear to have. There is only one way I can describe their overall demeanor and that would be highly unprofessional with no regards to others. Quite frankly, it would be worth the drive to go to another location so to not deal with this ignorance, attitude, and overall lack of enthusiasm from an employee.

I recently took the GMAT here and my experience was horrible. This center uses 10 year-old monitors, keyboards, and computer mice. The resolution on the screen was so low and blurry, it literally made my eyes hurt throughout my test. Of the 2 black markers I was given to do my work, one did not work at all. The 2nd one barely worked and you had to press hard to make it write anything. There is heavy security during the test. While some of this is warranted, they make you frisk yourself every time you enter and leave the test room. Furthermore, the security checks were so slow and the bathroom so far from the test room, I missed 20 seconds on one of my sections because I couldn't make it there and back in time. Pearson just wants your money, they could care less about the quality of service they are providing. I have been trying to get in touch with their customer service and it's designed like an impenetrable barrier. Their automated system will hang up on you abruptly and put you in circles before letting you speak with a real person.

I found the staff here to be rude and intolerant of others, especially those who work hard to get a degree despite overcoming challenging circumstances. They were unwilling to allow me to test because I'd arrived 13 minutes late because I'd been nearly hit by a car and fallen off my bike on my way over. I tried calling Pearson, but couldn't get through so I biked through Chicago as fast as I could to get to this important, expensive exam. When I came in, I had everything ready to go and the others were still in the lobby on their way back. One employee was sitting in the lobby while the other was standing and taking other testers back. I felt relieved- they hadn't even started. Then, I realized the seated employee was glaring at me, and I tried she was one of those people who love telling others bad news, and is so simple-minded and rule-abiding that it stands in the way of normal empathic response. She said I was too late (13 minutes) and they closed in four hours so it wasn't enough time. Now, I'd taken the practice same-length version of this exam and that took me 55 minutes. She was very rude and continued to repeat that they closed in four hours and I have to go online to reschedule and repay the gargantuan deposit. This entire experience made me want to cry. I would not recommend to others to use this test center if you want to be treated with dignity and respect on the day of your important test
