I have called and left multiple messages in regards to whether this testing center provides foam earplugs or just the noise reduction earmuffs. I know they will have the noise reduction earmuffs but I practice with foam earplugs in and also earmuffs.
I have no idea whether they will provide earplugs or not. This additional stress is disappointing. I will bring packaged earplugs but have been told that some testing centers do not allow this.
On an already stressful day, I like to have everything taken care of well ahead of time. Frankly the first time I called them was in February to even ask which model noise reduction earmuffs they use so I could purchase those and practice with them.
Finally, this testing center was not up to the standards for COVID and roughly 15 days before my test I was told that my 6:30am MCAT would have to be canceled and was automatically rescheduled to 6pm at night (same day).
Overall disappointing, will update if the center provided earplugs and the experience Was adequate.
Thus far, highly disappointing.
