The staff I dealt with on test day were very fine. The reason i give this company 1 star is because they make it impossible to get in touch with them. I have called for 3 solid weeks and have yet to be able to get anyone and when I have I got hung up on or told I need to have someone return my call (which by the way never happened). I sat on hold for 4 hours and you mean to tell me your call volume is that heavy that I waited for 4 freaking hours and not one answer? I have been waiting for my test results for a month an a half and still have not heard anything. When I finally got someone a couple of weeks ago they said my test results will be in my email in 24 hours but that never happened even after confirming the email they had on file. A week later an email was sent out stating that they are behind due to covid and they will be mailing the results the next day. Well you guessed it. Been over a week and still nothing. This has to be a joke. While I type this review I am currently on hold waiting for someone to answer and I called the second they opened and have been waiting so far for 10 mins. Let's see how long it takes if I even get someone.
*Update* someone picked up after 1 hour and 45 mins but still couldn't give results.

the location itself is great the staff are kind and helpful and all around really great but Prometric ITSELF is awful. I've never had a more difficult time dealing with any company. trying to deal with Prometric to obtain my CT state Insurance license has been the worst experience ever it's been more difficult than all 4 years of high school combined. absolutely awful. Prometric needs to fix their system, make it more convenient for test takers or test passers to communicate with them, and be kinder to them. They do NOT deserve any money that they've gained from me.

The staff here were so welcoming, friendly, and helpful to me; they went out of their way to keep the testing environment as silent as possible and to keep us all safe during the pandemic. I recommend reading the testing instruction emails very carefully and making sure you have your ID and any requested paperwork (ex: scheduling permit) on hand to prevent any unforeseen stress on test day. In short, I've taken a lot of exams at a lot of Prometric testing centers over the years, and this one is for sure my favorite of all!

This place is dirty! The carpet is brown with grimy dirt splotches everywhere. Have you ever heard of carpet cleaning?? The spray they use to clean the lockers smells so bad, you can smell it in the hallway before you open the door. It is so overpowering and toxic smelling. There are print out signs taped to the walls everywhere, it looks crazy and unprofessional. I have been to other locations that were clean and didn't make feel gross just by being there.

Took my practice session for step 1 and the step 1. Lisa and Vanessa were informative and nice. Also, the 2 guys that work in the inspection area were very efficient and quick. Would come back for my step 2.
