Took 3 of my exams here (mainly for the proximity), and I have had problems with 2 of my exams. For the first one, the power went out randomly in the middle of my exam (bad weather happens, so it wasn't too big of a concern). However, for my next test, I got an email late Saturday night from Prometric saying that my Monday exam was canceled, even though I got a confirmation email that morning saying that the test was still on. I looked online and this location wasn't even listed on the list of closed testing centers until Sunday afternoon. Plus, as of now, the Prometric website says that my test is still on, even though it's not. And of course, with it being the weekend, nobody contacts you to try to reschedule and they don't even provide any contact information so you can go ahead and try to reach them. And the odd thing is, we were well out of the range of any tropical storms or hurricanes, so there is no reason for the last minute cancellation.
The only positive things I have to say about this location is that it is a very fancy building and that the staff is efficient. Other than those two things, I'm afraid I don't have many nice things to say.
To be honest, go to the Ft. Lauderdale location. Yes, it's probably an hour or so drive from Miami and the center is not as nice, but the staff is much nicer and the overall experience for an already stressful test day is so much better.

The staff was so nice . The testing area was quiet. The room temperature was about 76ish, it was a nice temperature. Not too hot not too cold. I didn’t leave my seat for my break so I can’t comment on that. Overall great experience.

The chance of being contacted last minute regarding cancelling your appointment at this location (Site 0071) is very real. Choose an alternative location, even if it involves more travel and time.
I have sat for 12 prometric exams previous to this one. Never encountered any of the issues you will find here.

I took a shelf exam there a 3 hour exam, in which I’m allowed to leave the room and go to the bathroom or water fountain, however the time on my exam keeps counting. When coming back from a restroom break to finish the rest of the exam they closed the room, I spent 5 minutes knocking, eventually another test taker came and opened the door (not even one of the the THREE staff members that were working). Luckily I had a good cushion of time for my test but it was definitely a stressful situation. They also forgot to print out my confirmation that I took the exam, when I called on two separate occasions at appropriate business hours and no one answered the phone. The only reason I gave two stars is because the place was easy to find and kept clean.

You get a cancellation notice literally last minute after renting a car, hotel room, and driving four hours one way. Best part is they wont let you reschedule for up to five days while you took time off work to find another center. Great job prometric!
