I have taken two tests here and generally happy with my experience. I had a little trouble finding it the first time. There is no Prometric sign at the driveway entrance of Capital circle, I would recommend the management to consider putting up a sign. But after you pick the right driveway, you have to drive to the back side of the building and there is sign next to the entrance (see pictures). There are only few parking spots but I was able to find a free spot both time. My tests were somewhat uncommon and the test center staff were not familiar with policies and it created a minor issue. My tests were open book exam, and one staff told me I am not allowed more than one book. I asked her to double check because I was sure this test let me carry me a box of references. She tried to tell me I am wrong before checking carefully again which I did not like! Fortunately, another staff, Jay, cleared up the confusion right away, he assured me indeed I am permitted to carry as many references I would like. They gave me a locker and key, where I kept my wallet, cellphone and car keys. They scan you like in the espionage movie, check out your ankle tattoos. Inside the test center there are maybe 15 computers. The free desk space is very small though. I had two books, I had to move the keyboard out of way to be able to flip through my references to answer various questions and solve the math problems. My fellow test takers were fabulous, no noisy people. If you arrive a bit early than scheduled time, they also let you start the test early. Good luck!

It's downright awful.. I am extremely calm and cool but the lady who owns this place named Diane is an extremely disoriented elder who needs to retire because her people skills are either terrible or she just talks to you like a dog. This place needs new owners that understand people are paying their hard earned money to take a test. Going here to take a test feels like you are about to go to jail for a crime you didn't commit. Diane is the worst. She needs to be home making bagels or something. Hate this place as long as Diane is the owner. Terrible place that's a reflection of the owner.

This place needs to be shut down. Diane is unprofessional, aggressive, and rude. She said that it was "her job" to make things difficult for those taking tests. Really? Because I'm pretty sure her "job" as the owner is to make sure that tests are proctored in a timely and fair manner, that the testing environment is comfortable and safe for those testing, and that no one cheats. Anything outside of that is entirely uncalled for and abrasive, yet it appears to be the standard operating procedure for this location. Diane gets away with this type of treatment because they hold the monopoly on testing in the city. There is an utter look of terror on her employees' faces when she is around because she treats them equally as bad and in front of customers! Tallahassee needs another testing location because this one is creating hostile testing environments and inducing testing anxiety through its unjust treatment of testers who PAID to take tests at this location.

Staff at this location are rude and unwelcoming. At no point of scheduling was I notified of the mask requirement nor where there any signs posted on the door as most business have. The security check in process was a bit extra and made a very hostile environment. Staff member Diane could use a class on customer service or hospitality, as the fist thing she said to me as I got to the door was "MASK !!" and not in a friendly hey you forgot your mask. I have taken two other state exams and never had such a bad experience as I did here. Not to mention the center is not the easiest to locate either. If you do not have to use this facility I would go somewhere else.

Unprofessional presentation. The testing center looks like to was made from a converted garage. None of the employees were professionally dressed. One of the employees even had purple hair. The staff was talked loudly which was a big disruption. I asked a staff member if there was anything they could do to keep the noise down and she basically said no. The headphones provided to block out noise were to small, uncomfortable, and ineffective. The separate "quiet room" required to be provided for people with a medical waiver was actually closer to the noisy staff. One of the times I used this testing center the hardware required for security measures was broken. I'm not trying to be unreasonable. But I have to pay $400 in fees to the state, professional organizations, and prometric; plus another $300 for exam study materials. If I have to spend $700 all in just to take one test I feel like the least they could do is provide a quiet professional environment. As well as comply with the required security protocols to ensure cheaters aren't devaluing the state license that we put hundreds of hours into studying for to obtain. To be fair the 2nd time I went there the testing facility was much better about the noise issue, they fixed their security issues, and the staff member no longer had purple hair. That's why I gave them two stars instead of one. However, I still felt the value provided was ridiculously low compared to what applicants are being charged. A minimum level of professionalism and functionality just wasn't there.
