I was nervous before my test and the employees were very kind and encouraging. However, the door to the testing room is very loud and opened constantly. And when it is opened, peoples' voices easily travel inside the testing room. I was also sitting towards the back door of the room that is not opened and the entire time I could hear people in the hallway talking on the phone and to each other (even through my foam earplugs). When I tested at the Pearson testing center, I had no idea there was even another person in the room. The security protocols were strict and the room was dead silent. Prometric is the exact opposite. I was constantly being distracted by noise inside and outside of the testing room and the security protocols were lackluster.

The exam room was not sound proof enough / and or the staff outside the door wouldn’t shut up. 2 of the 4 staff were nice, but 2 were rude and unprofessional. They didn’t let me bring in my jacket claiming it could be noisy and interrupt test takers despite the fact I’ve worn the same jacket into the Raleigh Prometric 5 times.
Upon leaving a timed test that if crucial for my job, I should NOT know everything about the lady at the desks weekend plans, dinner date, kid, etc. I could hear every word THE ENTIRE EXAM. After an hour I thought about getting up and asking them to shut up, but I needed every minute of that exam.
DO NOT COME HERE if you exam is important and you need quiet

This place can't keep appointments. They cancelled my exam via email at 10 pm the night before. 4 days later they allowed me to reschedule. I showed up to the testing center today to find 5 people waiting outsode of a locked door. We all waited 30 minutes past our appointment time but no one came. They just sent the cancellation email 6 hours after the appointment time. Each time they cancel your appointment is another week you have to wait and continue to stress and review material. Horrible experience.

Is 0 stars an option? They cancel exams with 10 minutes notice because they have no staff. They advise you to go online when you call, but because they cancelled on you their system won't allow you to reschedule. After you finally find a phone number and are sent to their offshore call center be prepared to sit on hold for and extended period of time. To add insult to injury I was disconnected twice. Hoping third time will be the charm with this place. Very disappointing.

You need to be prepared, and know how to follow directions. It's that simple. They call to confirm your test, and tell you what you need to bring with you. Woman at the front desk was friendly but stern. Check in process went smoothly. Make sure you arrive early as there are normally people in line. No personal belongings in the testing room, so they give you a locker with a lock(also no hats).
