It’s a testing center, so I can’t say it was exactly enjoyable, but the staff were all very professional and most were also friendly. I got a call the day before letting me know what to bring and that I could check in early. The environment was quiet, the check in was easy, the chairs were comfortable and adjustable. I was taking a two day long exam and on the second day, my exam inexplicably closed following a break, and the staff quickly helped fix the issue.

The people at this prometric center are absolutely heinous. Avoid this place at all cost. The homely and rude old woman who works here told me that I couldn’t go to the bathroom and that I was “absurdly late” and that “I shouldn’t be allowed to test” because I hit traffic and arrived 20 mins late. Completely unprofessional behavior. Whoever they have calling people on the phone is completely unpersonable and awkward. He couldn’t answer basic questions about the test and stammered his way through the most painful 3 minute call I’ve ever had. Not a good environment to take a test in.

Staff is not helpful and not knowledgeable. We did confirm one day before GRE exam what identity proof they would need. The representative at this facility told us that driving license would be enough. After arrival, they asked to present passport which was completely opposite of what they had said the day before. They made one of us go all the way back to Hillsboro to bring the passport wasting one important hours before the exam and did not even consider the situation of student how much stress she must have been gone through. I think either they should take responsibility of providing correct information or accept their mistakes and not keep student under stress. In order to get license, you need to submit passport and license is government issued id. They could have accepted the license and let her continue taking the exam and the other person with her i.e. me could have gone home and get the passport for their records.

I got a call 2 days before my exam to remind me what I can and cannot bring. You need to arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment time to sign in. The staff were very friendly and thorough. I felt comfortable throughout and I passed my boards!

Avoid this place if you want to take toefl! I can’t believe I traveled a long distance to Portland and spent a weekend there to take this test only to receive a email two weeks later saying my test score was not available because the grader could not hear my response to the speaking section due to the TECHNICAL ISSUES of their machines/headphones.
