The staff have always been professional and friendly when I have been in attendance. They always explain the rules before entering the testing room. Unfortunately the test room has been a little on the warm side when I have been in there (I have done exams here twice between November and February and it was warm both times). They have some fans in there to try to keep things cool but I would recommend wearing a sweatshirt that is easy to remove for that reason. You get a small locker for your items and a key with a tag on it that dictates what kind of activities you are allowed to partake in (leaving for breaks, restrictions for breaks, etc). I am not sure every exam requires this, but be prepared to be waved over with a security wand and asked to pull up sleeves on shirts and legs on pants, empty pockets, and have jewelry/hairties examined to ensure you don't have anything that could be used to cheat. Overall, a good testing center

Hillary seemed like a nice helpful employee. Mick the guy in charge was super mean to me but very pleasant with my co worker. The only example that matters for review purposes is how he let my co worker right through the security check with no use of the security wand that every test taker is supposed to be scanned with. By the time it was my turn, get ready for a full security wand search front & back. Mick even had me expose more then necessary by forcing me to pull up pant & arm sleeves which is not the security protocol as listed by Prometric. My coworker & I were both dressed professionally so I would argue any justification that either of us were dressed in a suspicious manner to warrant additional precautions. I have filed a complaint for hostile testing environment as well as have requested a copy of the surveillance footage but have not heard back from the facility. There's a perfectly good testing facility at Chemeketa with friendly staff that treats everybody equally.
