Would give 0 stars if I could for the location. Arrived early to my test to a full waiting room and a line of people out the door waiting to check in, only to find out there's only 1 employee manning the entire place. A lot of the test takers knew each other and were talking and laughing very loudly, and wouldn't stop despite the employee telling them to keep quiet 3 times. Started my test an hour late due to the delay in check in and seating. Stress like this can negatively impact test takers' state of mind and ultimately their performance. The only reason I'm giving any stars is because of the 1 employee, Alex. He was doing a great job of running the whole place by himself. Additional negatives include the fact that the bathroom is in the hall and you need a key card, and if they're already in use you get to wait. Also parking is crazy expensive and they don't validate. If you're in the Dallas area, go to the prometric on Coit, they're much more organized, well staffed, quiet, and have clean bathrooms and free parking.

Very clean, very nice staff. One problem I have had with this testing center while taking my CPA exams is that they send scores to the AICPA for grading the day after you take the exam. This means that if you are testing on the final day of the testing block, you will have to wait for two score releases (about one month). I didn't have this problem with the testing center in Lubbock.

So far it has been very poor experience and I have wasted three months trying to get a hold of a live human being anyone to email me and help me get scheduled for CNA testing. It never happened even the state of Austin cannot help. All it does is tell you to send $125 to take the state and written exam for CNA you schedule it and then you get another email saying it’s been canceled so you are out of money over and over with no test date after going through the entire CNA course program and passing it and all you need to do is take the written and state exam but what a scam I’m out of money for taking the CNA program and out of money for trying to get a test date made through Prometric‘s and now I’m left with nothing and no license. So to me Prometric is a scam.

The staff was professional, the management was attentive, and the process was efficient. Check in and check out procedures were clear and concise, and this center is very respectful of your time. They are found within Plaza of the Americas which provides ease of parking downtown and a full service food court and executive experience to enjoy before or after you visit. I would absolutely use this location in the future.

(February 12, 2022) Today the fire alarm went off during USMLE (medical licensing exam). They forced everyone to evacuate into the lobby (not outside, just in the lobby for some reason) for about ~45 min. They shut off about half the computers (so lost about 5 minutes of exam time on a 10 minute clinical case). They were extremely unprofessional and did not care at all about how poorly they handled this. The half of the test-takers whose computers were not shut off were forced to go home (their exams were invalidated). The half of the test-takers who lost valuable exam time were forced to go back into the room to resume their test (nobody was offered the option to invalidate their test and re-take it elsewhere). I have looked everywhere on how to report this situation, but unfortunately Prometric does not have a way to hold themselves accountable. This situation was reported to the USMLE board through the post-test survey. GO ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR IMPORTANT TESTS!
