I had the same experience as the gentleman who posted the picture below. I am attempting to take my NBDE part 2. I took the first part, day 1, yesterday and was scheduled to take the second day today. Everyone scheduled for today received confirmation phone calls yesterday. This morning, there was NO phone call, NO email alerting us that the testing center would be closed due to weather. I took what should have been a 12 minute, $20 uber which ended up being a 45 minute $83 uber ride due to icy road conditions to get to the testing center. Roads were littered with accidents. Some people who showed up had gotten in accidents to get there. Others had driven HOURS through ICE to get there because NO ONE was contacted to inform us that the center was CLOSED. We get there only to see a sign taped to the door that center was closed due to weather! Who put the sign on the door?? Could they not have contacted everyone so that no one risked their lives to get there?!?!? This was absolutely unacceptable! It is almost 2020...there is NO REASON for an email not to be sent under these circumstances. Or a
automated phone call! For test takers to go through what we did to get there, only to see a note on the door is ridiculous. What is the point in closing the center due to unsafe driving conditions if no one knows it is closed and they still show up to take their test?!?
