This test center made my board exam (that I had been studying for for three years) an absolute nightmare of an experience. I received an email confirmation that I had been scheduled at this site for 800am wednesday the 26th. When I arrived there was a paper taped to the door saying if your test is scheduled for the 26th you need to call and reschedule (we never received any communications prior to the morning of the 26th). Since the NPTE is only administered 3x per year this was incredibly stressful. We were on the phone with prometrics for an hour and a half before they could get ahold of the test site manager and he sent a woman over. When she arrived she said that if your test is longer than 6 hours (which mine was) then you need to reschedule. This sent me into a spiral but after much negotiating and begging with her we decided to start my test and see what she could do to stay longer. Therefore I rushed a bit in the beginning of my test and was panicked (and I rarely get test anxiety). All in all an incredibly poor job by prometrics that made the biggest test of my life a super stressful experience.

Calling Prometric has got to be the worse possible! I was on the line for 40 minutes 24 seconds, transferred back and forth and hanged up on. The above time is not including the 20 minutes 7seconds of calling and getting no answer so I ended the call but my exam is valuable to me so I had to call back again for the third time . For another 47 minutes 17 seconds I was on hold listening to "your call will be answered in the order it was received for the myriad time while an associate try to find someone who could help me. A complete disregard for time. This is unprofessionalism at its finest and unacceptable in every way or form considering they require people to be professional.
Its a shame! You could do better than this Prometric. Most of the associated I got transferred to where rude as can be and sounded bothered. I am rating two stars only because of Zakiya Millard, she was clear, professional, compassionate and efficient. She should be in charge of customer service.

If you are looking for a place to take the GRE, SAT, or any other such exam, I urge you to find another location. I take a time-sensitive medication and my reminder alarm went off during a break in testing. Of course I picked up my phone to turn off the alarm, then took my meds. This was all during the break. A week later I received an email that my test scores would be canceled because I looked at my phone during the test. This is not what happened and the proctor should not have lied. If the proctor had simply had the courtesy to ask me, during the break when I took a second to turn off an alarm, this simple misunderstanding could have been avoided. Instead she assumed things that simply were not true.
