Many of the people complaining on this site simply don't want to comply with the rules of the testing center. Pearson VUE along with the sponsors of the various exams set out very precise guidelines about what is allowed and what isn't. Testing personnel have to abide by these rules and protocols or risk losing their jobs. If you come to an exam prepared, i.e with the correct, unexpired documentation and any other pertinent items required, you will not be turned away. Furthermore, tests are scheduled throughout the day. So, if a candidate arrives two hours late for a test, it throws out the schedule for the remainder of the day. This means that candidates who are scheduled behind the late candidate now have to wait to do their tests because the late person was too inconsiderate to be on time. Pearson VUE is NOT a scam. It is a large global company. However, if you fail a test, you do have to pay to retake it. If you miss an appointment and do not cancel in time, you do have to pay to reschedule. Even doctors are charging these days for uncancelled and missed appointments. What some people don't seem to realize is that if everyone just didn't show up, the company would lose money because other candidates could have filled those time slots. As to the candidate who said the center wasn't open, either had the wrong date for his test {it happens!] or was at the wrong test center [that happens almost daily!] . Tests are not scheduled for days the testing center is not open PERIOD. Too many candidates do not take the time or make the effort to actually read the email they receive with instructions, addresses, etc. If they did, a lot of hassle could be avoided.
